Distance to treasure island casino

Our plans are to walk the strip back (we are all in to fitness so walking the distance isnt a problem) drinks in hand with no real time restrictions when to get back. We are going to check in first, then we need to drop the hire cars off at Dollar Rent A Car at Treasure Island by 4:30pm (June/July weather).

Staying at the MGM Grand but we will be driving from LA. We have 5 guys going to Vegas for the first time for my 30th Bday/Bucks Party next year.
